" Mootsi"......The Princess
My name is Mootsi. I am what my Mom calls a "Princess". My parents , are guessing, I am part Bischon, and Maltese, or maybe some Poodle decent.
I was abandonded, lost, otherwise dislocated from the first family that I had. I was picked up after two weeks or so, in the cold and rain of the winter, March 2003. I will never forget, that big white truck and a man from the County Animal Shelter found me. Somebody had called about me, because they were afraid that I would get run over. After I was picked up, the shelter was a scary place, because I was put in a cage with six other very BIG dogs! I was only 8 lbs at the time, but I looked bigger because of all the hair on me, matted and dirty. It hurt to walk because of the mats down to my skin. I was very cold, lonesome and afraid.
Then my Mom came to the shelter where they put me in "lock-up". She couldn't see my eyes, but I could see her! Wow! She had a voice that I loved! I just wanted to be with her! What seemed like an eternity, she came and adoped me!
That is only the beginning of a journey I will never forget. But I must say, I am thankful that she found me! Thank you, Mom & Dad for giving me a soft, warm place to fall.
I have three beautiful "sisters" that were adopted also, a big "brother" who is a Horse they call "Copper", live in a big home with two loving parents, lots of "aunts"' & " uncles" that visit us all the time, and Mom & Dad's Grandkids come and play too!
